We were happy to return to Warrior Salute Veterans Services to present Grant funding for upgrades and maintenance of NUCOR House where the veterans live. Since 2010, Warrior Salute began offering support to veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), in their transition to civilian life. Since inception, over 400 veterans have received services through Warrior Salute Veteran Services. For those veterans that come through the program, assessments show a reduction in PTSD related symptoms.
