We were happy to provide Grant funds to East End Disability Associates to help their Manorville, New York home with needed repairs. This home houses eight people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We were happy to provide Grant funds to East End Disability Associates to help their Manorville, New York home with needed repairs. This home houses eight people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We were happy to fulfill a Grant request for Project MOST to support their after school programming to increase accessibility to all students of low-income families in their community. They provide over $100,000 in financial aid each year to those who cannot afford the $2,000 per year tuition for this program. Our funds will help them continue to meet a rising demand for after school programming in the community.
We were happy to return to Foodlink in Rochester, NY to present Grant funds to support their Nutrition Education programs. Foodlink has a 45-year history of mobilizing a diverse network of community partners to address both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity.
We were happy to return to Good Samaritan Hospital to present Grant funds supporting their Women’s Heart Wellness Program at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The Women’s Heart Wellness Center provides collaborative prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women and new moms during the entire pregnancy and up to 6 months after delivery to ensure no cardiac abnormalities go untreated. Specialists in cardiovascular disease work closely with specialists in areas including maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. Their program provides education, comprehensive treatment and diagnostic services to help women practice and maintain good heart health.
We were happy to present Grant funds to Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank. Our funds will assist them in procurement of additional food to feed their neighbors in need.
We were happy to present Grant funds to Island Harvest, based out of Melville, NY. Our funds will be used to support their Food Collection & Distribution Program. Their goals for 2023/2024 include distribution of more than 18,000 turkeys, chickens, and hams during the holiday season.
We were happy to fulfil a Grant request to JZips, based out of Great Neck, NY. JZips was founded by Jordan, a pediatric cancer survivor, who created specialized mediport shirts to provide immediate access to medical staff while bringing joy to children with the fun styles. JZips provides the mediport shirts to children at no cost, ensuring practicality and a touch of normalcy during the child’s challenging journeys.
We were happy to return to Wildlife Center of Long Island to present Grant funds to support their orphaned and injured wildlife rehabilitation program. Their Wildlife Advisory Hotline triages almost 10,000 distressed wildlife inquiries annually. On average they admit 2,000 wild patients annually; 60% of which are orphaned or juveniles.
We were happy to present Grant funds to The Safe Center based out of Bethpage, NY. The Safe Center has been providing free, comprehensive safety and support services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and human trafficking since 1977.
