We were delighted to return to 13thirty Cancer Connect to fulfill a grant request for funds to help them recover from COVID-19 setbacks. 13thirty helps adolescents and young adults (AYAs) impacted by cancer live their very best lives – today!
Since 2001, 13thirty has concentrated their efforts and resources on a targeted national problem that affects 89,500 young people in the U.S. each year.
13thirty offers a variety of peer programs for their members in three main categories: arts, wellness, and just-for-fun social gatherings. These resources help AYAs enhance their coping skills and self-esteem by building satisfying peer connections, learning to self-advocate, and developing effective self-management tools for long-term health.t
