We were happy to present Grant funds to Genesee Valley Conservancy to support their acquisitions and conservation efforts. Their Cooperative Conservation program involves the purchase of lands for conservation and re-selling the lands for environmental protection to New York State Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation and New York State Department of environmental Conservation. This program allows them to use their Acquisitions Fund to acquire strategic parcels of land to in-fill, expand, and buffer existing parks, forests, and wildlife management area.
