We were happy to fulfill a Grant request from Long Island Reach to be used for Their Harriet Eisman Community School project.  Harriet Eisman Community School students are between 14 and 22 years of age.  Students who begin the program in their late teens can finish the program past 22 years old until they graduate.  They strive to help students learn academically and to equip them with the tools to improve confidence and develop a better outlook for their future.   Students are taught about healthy relationships, how to manage stress and anxiety, how to cope with stress and trauma, and how to set and accomplish goals.  Many students are considered at-risk or disadvantaged and several entering the program report anxiety, depression, social anxiety or feelings of isolation.
