We are happy to announce grant funding to Save the Sound.  Our funds will be used to help with their project of protecting Plum Island for posterity.  Plum Island is part of a chain of islands rich in ecological diversity and home to the Plum Island Animal Disease Center, which has kept most human visitors away for more than 70 years.  Save the Sound plans to continue to work with federal agencies and local scientists to begin ecological management planning of Plum Island.
