Grant Award

Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester

We were happy to present Grant funds to Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester to support their PALS (Peer Advocates Lending Support) Project. This program pairs participants with PALS mentors who have lived through similar experiences. Our funds will help pay professional facilitators and supplies.

Lockport CARES

We are happy to announce Grant funds awarded to Lockport CARES, in Lockport, NY. Our funds will be used to contribute towards operational expenses for client stay. Since 2009 Lockport CARES has helped those in need by providing emergency shelter, material needs and compassionate care with dignity and respect. Guests are allowed to stay up to 15 business days during which time they meet with a caseworker.

Allied Foundation

We were happy to present Grant funds to Allied Foundation in Melville, NY to support their Diaper Bank. Allied Foundation works to address the needs of low-income families on Long Island suffering the need for diapers due to cost. Due to the high cost of diapers, people in need may reuse diapers or leave them on babies for extended periods of time, posing risk to the children.

Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center

We were happy to present Grant funds to Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center in Naples, Florida. Our funds will be used for their Healing Hearts program. This is an unforgettable animal-assisted therapeutic and educational experience which reaches about 40-45 veterans who are working through difficult circumstances. Shy Wolf Sanctuary is a forever home to over 40 animals that are unable to return to the wild.

Arc GLOW

We were happy to provide Grant funds to Arc GLOW serving Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties. Arc GLOW serves up to 2,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). They are also one of the area’s largest employers, with over 1,000 employees who provide assessment, health, educational, therapeutic, supportive, vocational, and residential services. Our funds will contribute towards procuring ADA compliant doors for their Walnut Street, Batavia building that provides day habilitation services, prevocational services, and administrative support.

Grant Award

Catholic Health Services of Long Island

We were happy to present Grant funds to Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Our Grant funds will contribute to their PACT program (Pathway to Accountability, Compassion, and Transparency). Program goals include further strengthening of their communication and resolution program across the entire Catholic Health system to allow for improved patient/family engagement, development of best practice communications, and strengthening of their safety program.

Adirondack Mountain Club

We are happy to provide Grant funds to Adirondack Mountain Club to support their Marie L. Haberl School Outreach Program: Three Seasons at Heart Lake. This program connects fourth grade students with the nature of northern New York since 2003. Students experience the seasonal transformation of the Adirondacks with ADK educators over three field trips to Heart Lake Program Center and four classroom lessons. This program is geared to inspire stewardship and encourage environmental literacy and care of the natural world.

Birch Family Services

We are happy to support Birch Family Services with Grant funds contributing towards their 45th Street Mobility Initiative. They plan to install a SureHands Lift System at the East 45th Street Residence in Brooklyn, New York. This will help transfer residents from their beds to other rooms within the home. This will reduce injury risk and enhance daily living.
