East End Disability Associates

We were happy to present grant funds to East End Disability Associates, based in Riverhead, NY. EEDA provides a diverse array of supports and services including nine houses, two day programs that focus on community integration and skill building, a Creative Arts Program, mobile crisis services, and recreation programs.

Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons

We were happy to present grant funds to Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons. Our funds will be used to support their new native turtle Physical Therapy Trauma Treatment Program. The majority of turtle trauma is sustained to their heads and shells. Immediate treatment through the new Program is key to a full recovery and eventual return to their native habitats. Turtles are depended on in the eco system. They are organisms that reflect the environmental conditions of their surroundings. They disperse seeds and fertilize through their digestion as well as producing nitrogen and phosphorous. They also are part of nature’s cleanup crew, eating dead fish and plants, cleaning the water of bacteria.

Villagers for Veterans

We were happy to present grant funding to Villagers for Veterans, located in The Villages, Florida. Villagers for Veterans is a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization founded for the sole purpose of helping severely wounded veterans. Their programs include Women’s Veterans Programs, Service Dogs, Mobility and Independence Programs, and Veterans In Need Programs.
