We were delighted to fulfill a Grant request to Cornell Cooperative Extension. Their work in Suffolk County, NY involves raising millions clams and oysters to seed in the local waters for environmental restoration. An interesting fact is that one adult oyster, can filter up to 55 gallons of water per day. Through innovative aquaculture projects like this, they are helping filter and clean our creeks and bays.
