Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs

In addition to sharpening time management, communication, and organization skills, students also gain compassion and learn how to advocate for service dogs and their partners. While the positive effect of the program on its students and the surrounding community is significant, the people who most benefit from your support of ADEPT are those who become partners with the service dogs trained in the program." -Alana, ADEPT Intern.

We are happy to be supporting Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs (PawPADs) supporting their ADEPT program.   ADEPT (Assistance Dog Education Program and Training) is an innovative PawPADs program offered to University of Wisconsin-River Falls students. It utilizes PawPADs’ positive training methods and philosophy to give college students an opportunity to grow, both professionally and personally, while also preparing assistance dogs to help people with disabilities gain independence.
