We are once again happy to provide Grant funds to JAVC Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County, Inc. Our funds will contribute to their repairs and supplies necessitated from recent heavy rains. Damage not only occurred to the building roof but to clothing, furnishings, files and necessitated countless hours of clean-up. The JAVC houses 20 homeless veterans on a 90-100 day rotation and provides them with comprehensive wrap-around services. They also provide assistance to about 750 at-risk veterans with emergency housing, food, transportation, mortgage/rent payments, utility notice shut-offs, mobility equipment, vehicles and much more.

We are happy to fulfill a Grant request for Grassroots Gardens WNY to contribute to their fundraising for overall project needs including personnel costs. Their gardens supply low-income children and families with fresh seasonal produce grown within walking distance of their homes. Their member gardens are thriving urban green spaces that teach children about nature, restore habitat for pollinators and other wildlife, and serve as community gathering spaces where neighbors can meet and build relationships.

We are happy to support TSINY Transitional Services for New York, Inc. assisting Color My World a new art as therapy program in partnership with The Spirit of Huntington Art Center. TSINY provides rehabilitative services to enrich the lives of people with severe mental health diagnoses and facilitate their transition to greater levels of independence.

We are happy to support Believe In A Cure with Grant funding to contribute towards their AAV Drug Refinement Study in FOXG1 mice. BIAC has contracted a company called Psychogenics and partnered with University of Massachusetts Medical School in research and development of this drug. The mission of the organization is to develop a treatment for a rare brain disease called FOXG1 syndrome which has links to Alzheimer’s, schizophrenia, and brain tumors. This syndrome prevents impacted kids from walking, talking, or doing anything independently while suffering from seizures, a sleep disorder, feeding difficulties, and more (many patients have died from the complexity of these issues). The second part of the mission is to provide support to impacted families.

We are happy to support The Phoenix Center NJ with funding to provide exercise equipment to their Physical and Occupational Therapy Program. Our funds will supply two treadmills and one recumbent bicycle for use of students ages 5 – 21. The Phoenix Center works in partnership with families and community to develop the potential of students with significant developmental disabilities.

We are happy to once again support the Quogue Wildlife Refuge. With the recent Southern Pine Beetle infestation, our funds will contribute to offset the cost of acquiring their own equipment and help offset labor to keep the acreage safe and preserve habitats.

We are happy to once again support the Keys program. Their Music Therapy, Backyard Concerts and Family Respite Programs deliver music, hope, joy and smiles to children impacted by cancer and serious illness.

We are happy to support Harmony Heights with Grant funds to support their overall mission of providing therapeutic mental health services for young people throughout Long Island and New York State.

We are happy to support Catholic Health Home Care’s Nurses Clinical Excellence Education Program. This program is geared to provide career development and retain talent of their high-quality nursing and interdisciplinary clinical staff. The additional training programs include comprehensive/OASIS training, Would Care, Balance/Vestibular Assessment, Diabetes Care and more.
