Horses Make Miracles

We were happy to again provide Grant funding to Horses Make Miracles, contributing to their Equus Embrace program. HMM offers a variety of therapeutic equine therapy services and workshops at their Longmont, Colorado location. Their diverse equine assisted therapeutic programs designed for individuals of all ages include, but are not limited to: autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, sensory integration disorders, Down’s Syndrome, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, traumatic brain injuries, learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, stroke, mental health issues and behavioral challenges. They also facility groups that focus on youth (Pony Power) or seniors (Silver Stirrups), volunteer opportunities, community involvement, continuing education and mentorship.

The Lend A Hand Project

We were happy to once again provide Grant funding to the Lend A Hand Project. Our funds will support their “Angel Program” helping families transitioning out of homeless shelters and mothers in need.

SIBS Place

We were delighted to once again provide Grant funding to SIBSPlace, an affiliate of Mount Sinai South Nassau, for their Camp SIBS program. This six week summer program consists of a variety of cultural and empowerment field trips, on-site recreational activities and creative arts based peer support groups. SIBSPlace is a free community service for children ages 5-17 coping with a loved one’s medical illness or death.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary

We were happy to again provide Grant funding to The Wild Animal Sanctuary, located in Keenesburg, Colorado. Our funds will be used to help with the purchase of used Water Trucks. The trucks will play an integral role in their feeding program at their 1214 acre site.

Mondays At Racine

We were happy to provide Grant funding to Mondays at Racine, Inc., based out of Sayville, NY. Our funds will be used to support their Mondays for Men Cancer Wellness Program. This program is open to men on Long Island who are currently going through cancer treatment or are survivors of a cancer diagnosis.

Allied Foundation

We were happy to once again provide Grant funding to Allied Foundation to support their Potty Independence Initiative. Designed for families with toddlers 2-3 years of age, Allied provides families with guidance on how to help the family transition from diapers to potty and will provide a potty toolkit which will include a sturdy potty seat with handles that toddlers can put on themselves, training underwear and a potty book to foster literacy and provide training tips for the caregivers.

Turtle Rescue Of The Hamptons

We were happy to once again provide Grant funding to Turtle Rescue of The Hamptons, based out of Jamesport, NY. Our funds will be used to help with their Headstart Turtle Hatchling Nursery/Breeding Program. The goal of the program is to safely remove eggs from injured mothers to incubate and raise hatchlings up to 1 year prior to release into the native habitat. The program goal is to also increase their current capacity by more than 50%.

Spectrum for Living

We were happy to provide Grant funding to Spectrum for Living, based out of River Vale, NJ. Our funds will be used to support their Recreation Program. SFL offers their clients living with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, spina bifida and other neurological impairments the freedom to make their own choices, become active members of society and have access to the same opportunities able bodied individuals do. Clients participate in events and activities that stimulate cognitive functioning while offering them the opportunity to socialize with other clients across all 27+ facilities and the greater community.

St. Charles Hospital, Port Jefferson, NY

We were happy to provide Grant funding to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. Our funds will be used to purchase Philips X3 cardiac transport monitors.

As at most hospitals, staff at St. Charles Hospital are physically and emotionally challenged when responding to a very sick patient experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. In these life-or-death moments, the cardiac transport monitor is a critical piece of life-saving equipment. This grant will help them upgrade their fleet of cardiac transport monitors and in turn allow them to treat sudden cardiac arrest in an effective manner and help save lives.
