Cove Animal Rescue

We were happy to fulfill a Grant request to Cove Animal Rescue, located in Glen Cove, NY. Our funds will help their mission to shelter and increase the adoptability of homeless dogs and cats through training and socialization. Their program is geared to help these future pets transition to a home environment.

Semper Fi & America’s Fund

We were happy to once again support Semper Fi & Americas Fund with Grant funds. Our funds will help Semper Fi & America’s Fund to further their mission of helping service members, veterans, and military families by providing financial stability, accessibility for an improved quality of life, resources for employment and educational pursuits, and access to innovative solutions for enhanced well-being.

Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund

We are delighted to once again support the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund. Their mission is to send at-risk, underserved children affected by gun violence to summer sleep-away camp. This allows for a union between Scott’s love of summer camp and his love of children. Scott was a teacher, a cross-country coach, a counselor and a mentor who was killed at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14, 2018 and died a hero, protecting the lives of his students.

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck

We were happy to again support Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck with Grant funds. The Camp has been welcoming children and young adults (ages 6-21+) with special needs for 75 years. Located in Center Moriches, the Camp provides a variety of creative and challenging activities that build self-esteem, promote social and personal growth, and provide experiences that these children would not otherwise be able to enjoy. Our funding will be used to address various needed renovations and upgrades to help the Camp be enjoyed for years to come.

JAVC Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council

We were happy to once again support JAVC – Jerry Ambrose Veteran Council, based in Kingman, AZ. Our funds will be used to support the organization in their goals for strengthening veterans and their families through a variety of services, programs, education and hope in Mohave County, AZ and neighboring counties. Their objectives this year include providing emergency/financial/transportation assistance to 850 veterans and much more.

NIS Kids – New Interdisciplinary School

We were happy to provide Grant funding to The New Interdisciplinary School. NIS is an innovative early childhood learning center that respects the unique needs of all children and their families. Our funds will be used for NIS to purchase interactive educational materials for their students to put along a nature trail, adjacent to their outdoor classroom. These structures will be permanent and benefit nearly 400 preschoolers annually, over half of which have special needs.

The Center for Developmental Disabilities

We were delighted to return to The Center for Developmental Disabilities to provide Grant funding. Our funds will be used to provide 25 AED kits for installation in all the Center’s residences and administrative offices. A defibrillator is a rescue device that can help revive an individual suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. For every minute a victim is in cardiac arrest without help, the survival odds are decreased by 10 percent.

Homes 4 Families

We were happy to fulfill a Grant request for Homes 4 Families.  Homes 4 Families helps veterans who are capable of paying a modest mortgage and are upwardly mobile, but just need an opportunity to stabilize.  Through their program which provides affordable homeownership, empowerment programs, peer-to-peer support, and programs that allow them to plant roots in the greater community, low-income military families can achieve long-term growth and eliminate their risks of homelessness.

Project MEND

We were happy to fulfill a grant request to Project MEND. Project MEND (Medical Equipment Network for those with Disabilities) is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals living with disabilities and illnesses through the refurbishment, reuse, and distribution of medical equipment and other assistive technology.
