Freedom Service Dogs of America

We were happy to return to Freedom Service Dogs in Englewood, CO. to fulfill a Grant request. Our Grant funds will be used to provide ongoing support for their mission of rescuing dogs and training them as service dogs for people with disabilities that include multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spinal-cord injury, PTSD, and more.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary

We were happy to provide Grant funding to The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO., to help fund underground dens. These underground dens provide safe, comfortable spaces for their rescued captive-bred large carnivores.

YWCA Rochester & Monroe County

We were happy to provide Grant funding to YWCA Rochester & Monroe County to partially fund a full time Parent Navigator position that will leverage the YWCA Parents as Teacher’s Program. This investment could also be used as match dollars so we can pursue State or Federal funding.

The Lend A Hand Project

We were happy to provide Grant funding to The Lend A Hand Project to support their Angel Program. The Angel Program will provide more housewares packages to their shelter families transitioning out into independent living. It will also increase Lend A Hand’s financial capacity to provide for additional custodial grandparents and also for those who are experiencing unique circumstances of need.

North Shore Animal League America

We were happy to return to North Shore Animal League America to provide Grant funding to support their Pet Sponsorship Program. North Shore Animal League America is committed to a no-kill world for homeless animals. A leader in the no-kill movement since their inception in 1944, they are dedicated to ending animal cruelty and euthanasia; encouraging spay/neuter programs; promoting shelter adoption; and advancing the highest standards in animal welfare.

Lifespan of Greater Rochester

We were happy to return to Lifespan, Rochester. Our Grant funds will be used to purchase a new van for their Home Safe Home Program. Lifespan installs safety equipment in the homes of older adults. Most of the people served have recently had a hospitalization or experienced a fall. Falls are the number one reason older adults go to the hospital. Lifespan serves approximately 900 people/year in this program.

We were happy to fulfill a Grant request to Allied Foundation to support their Diaper Bank: Keeping Babies Clean, Dry and Healthy. The Allied Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded by Allied Physicians Group. The mission of the Allied Foundation is to impact and improve the health and wellbeing of residents within Allied Physicians Group’s geographical footprint, which currently includes: Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk), Queens, Brooklyn, Richmond, Westchester, Rockland, and Orange.

Adventures In Learning

We were happy to provide Grant funds to Adventures In Learning, Long Island. Our funds will be used to staff a Friday Enrichment Program for school year 2022-2023. This enrichment program will provide students the opportunity to learn things that they would otherwise not have exposure to such as building robots, coding, boxing, following healthy recipes and creating art in different mediums.

Horses Make Miracles

We were happy to fulfill another Grant request for Horses Make Miracles, which offers activities for participants of all ages and abilities, both riding and non-riding with personalized plans specifically geared toward participant’s needs, goals and objectives. Their diverse equine assisted therapeutic programs designed for individuals of all ages include, but are not limited to: autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, sensory integration disorders, Down’s Syndrome, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, traumatic brain injuries, learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, stroke, mental health issues and behavioral challenges. They also facility groups that focus on youth (Pony Power) or seniors (Silver Stirrups), volunteer opportunities, community involvement, continuing education and mentorship.
