We were happy to return to Manhasset, NY to present Grant funds to Tuesday’s Children. Our funds will help them to meet the growing demand for mental health and wellness programs among their service populations, providing needed resources to expand their innovative and far-reaching programs to families throughout the United States. They plan to expand community outreach and awareness of digital programs and offer more of the following in-person and digital programs and services.

We were happy to fulfill a Grant request to independent Group Home Living Program, Inc. to assist in the installation of a standby generator for their Flanders Intermediate Care Facility, home to 12 medically frail residents.

We were happy to fulfill a Grant request from Catholic Health Home Care to help with their Nurse Residency Program. The NRP aims to address the critical nursing shortage in home care staffing to recruit and retain new nurses to join their team. The NRP provides a solid foundation for newly graduated nurses transitioning from student to professional nurse. The 12-month program exposes new graduates to home care through a mix of educational curriculum, supervised patient visits, and ongoing mentor/peer support and collaboration with their nursing leadership.

We were happy to provide Grant funds once again to CP Rochester. Our funds will be used to support their Family Dental Center, specifically dental salaries and benefits, supplies, training, and equipment.

We were happy to provide Grant funding to Journey to The Center of Hope. Our funds will be used to help provide free photography courses every six weeks for veterans as an alternative tool to help cope with PTSD. Their vision is to bring their program to the entire state of Arizona. They are spreading the word through advertising and also veteran’s photography exhibitions in Kingman, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, and Bullhead City, AZ.

We were happy to return to Cancer Support Community Rochester at Gilda’s Club to provide Grant funding. Our funds will include support for cancer specific mental health support groups, support for social programs such as cooking and therapeutic music classes, outreach with cancer programming and education sessions in rural and underserved communities, and facility support including critical IT and safety upgrades as well as repairs and maintenance.

We were happy to provide Grant funds to The Gabriel Foundation to support their mission of providing safe sanctuary and care for parrots in need, matching birds with caring adopters and to encourage all to responsibly improve the lives of companion parrots. Their team spreads the Foundation’s message and educates the public through outreach events, tours, and free online educational materials.

We were happy to provide Grant funds to Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD). Our funds will be used to support their general operations to fully cover the cost of the high-quality, individualized, and trauma-informed care they provide to people with disabilities who often have complex health needs and support requirements. Our funds will also support their work with children in foster care or with suspected abuse, and their families.

We were happy to provide Grant funds to Rising Ground, Inc. to support their Community Education & Healthcare Navigation project. This project pairs Rising Ground’s most vulnerable populations – low-income families, recent immigrants, children in foster care, expectant parents, and teenagers and young adults – with a Healthcare Navigator who ensures all are connected to health and wellness-focused resources that meet their immediate and long-term needs.
