We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to Brighter Tomorrows, based on Long Island, NY. Our funds will be used to support their Welcome Home project. This program provides essential household items for women exiting emergency shelters to use in their new home.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to SIBS Place, based out of Rockville Centre, NY. Our funds will be used to help with the costs of their Camp SIBS program. Participants are children dealing with serious health issues. This six-week program consists of a variety of cultural and empowerment field trips, o-site recreational activities and creative arts-based peer support groups.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to WNY Heroes, Inc., based out of Buffalo, NY. Our funds will be used for their Pawsitive for Heroes program. This program helps veterans with chronic physical or mental health conditions by improving well-being and accessibility through the assistance of a service dog.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to Southwest Montana Veterans Food Pantry and Services, based out of Deer Lodge, MT. Our funds will be used to support their mission of food assistance, comprehensive support, community engagement and suicide prevention for veterans in the area.
We are happy to announce grant funds awarded to Spectrum for Living to support their Recreation Program. The funds will enhance activities for adults with developmental disabilities, including cooking classes, gardening, walking groups, art therapy, dances, and adaptive sports like yoga, bowling, and the Spectrum Olympic Games. These activities promote positive behaviors, help build friendships, and allow clients to engage in a supportive, judgment-free space while remaining active and connected to their community.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to The Syracuse Orchestra. Our funds will be used to support their Healing Harmonies musicians who visit patients, veteran staff members, and long-term care residents at their local VA hospital.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to Friends of Lackota Animal Sanctuary, based out of Nunn, Colorado. Our funds will be used to help them with their mission of rescuing animals in several states, including Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Oklahoma.
We are happy to announce grant funds being awarded to Waggle, Inc., based out of Hadlyme, CT. Our funds will be used to help with their project to eradicate economic euthanasia in New York state. Since 2017, their mission has been to ensure that the lives of companion animals are not cut short due to a guardian being without funds for medical treatment.
